This Week In Pics

Who doesn't love being goofy for the camera

We spent the week slowly decorating the tree

He loved putting the decorations on and off

Helping me in doing some baking

He was quite proud of the organised mess he had made

Hat and mitts on are a VERY rare occurrence

While at the playground the kindergarten kids came out and
three girls were quick to grab Owen's hand and
take him under the tree to play, oh dear.

This Week In Pics

Would you believe me if I said I didn't take any pics this week? Don't know how it happened, it's just been one of those weeks I guess! Here are the two that managed to make it onto my phone.

Owen taking a pic during a diaper change. Sometimes
it's the only way I can keep him still

Found the drive thru espresso and treats and it was
really good. Of course located right beside the
drop in centre where we have play group.

Single Sided Deafness

I came across this article recently and found it to be interesting. It does a good job at summing up what it's like to be able to hear from only one side. This is not meant to solicit feelings of sympathy or sadness, just an understanding of what it's like. I'm pretty ok with the fact I can't hear from my right side but it can be annoying and difficult some days.
The article is long but worth reading all the way through.

This Week In Pics

A very rare nap on the sofa with Dad

Seconds before the tantrum went full on in Home Depot

Best part of play time, the box

New toys handed down from our neighbours

Nate is showing Owen all the cool bits of Batmans lair

Across the street is James who is one month older than Owen,
I foresee some trouble makers

Teaching him that drawing is for the paper only

This is the closest I got him to dress up on Halloween

Family trip to Spirit Tree Cidery

They're so cute

Owen really loves his apples

Halloween

We tried.
It was a no go.
Maybe next year!

Rob and I had fun decorating, carving pumpkins, roasting the seeds, dressing up, seeing all the great kids costumes and handing out candy. Owen refused all four of the costumes I had for him. Oh well, he had fun handing out candy.
