Nothing better than playing with his trucks while sitting under the trees

It has been very warm here so the plants needed some
water, Owen thought we needed some as well

This weekend Owen joined the boys in some street hockey

He loved that mask and wouldn't sit still for a second,
he wanted to keep running around and hitting the ball

Sunday Rob went out and got Owen his first hockey stick
and they had a blast hitting the ball around

This Week In Pics

Our one red pepper from the garden, quickly eaten by Owen

I made some playdough which has provided
tons of play time

We went to the Bolton Fall Fair this weekend and
of course chocolate ice cream was a must

Luckily he was happy to just wander around and
check everything else out

In the chicken barn but he was more interested in
what was behind the door

It's getting harder to get a pic of the front of him

Definitely the highlight of the fair, playing on the big tractor

Came home this week from an appointment to see Owen
riding his bike around the street. It made me so happy

No pants and daddy's slippers = super cute pic

We went to an apple orchard Monday and they had
the biggest sandbox

We were the only ones there so it made for easy
picking on the toys

We were there for a looong time!

Started my first batch of hard cider in the basement

It was so easy that by the end of the week I had decided
to brew a second batch, pumpkin pie cider.
Now to wait until the end of October.

This Week In Pics

Owen loves to help whenever possible

Saturday morning we headed down to the local
farmers market and Owen was loving the strawberries

Of course it's the first time this year this guy shows up on
our street, right at bed time!

Owen and I headed to the Aquarium and took a detour
to see all the trains. He so loved it

Then of course a visit to the park to check it out

We met up with Leanne and went in to see the fish

It was quite dark and Owen was running around
like crazy checking everything out. Thankfully
Leanne was able to keep up with him!

This guy was pretty impressive

We all enjoyed the slow moving walkway in the shark
tunnel, even Owen stayed on it the entire time

With so much excitement Owen passed out within
minutes for a very rare nap

The last of our hydrangeas for the season

He played like this on the curb for almost 20 min while the girls
were playing on our lawn. He was in his own little world and
I loved watching him play

We had to pull out the sweaters and jeans on Friday,
fall is in the air

We have been pretty busy since coming back from my parents. Here's a recap of what we've been up to.

My dear friend Lisa and her daughter Metta came to visit for the day

These two had a blast and Lisa and I were able to enjoy some
adult conversation

He loved to run then turn around and watch his shadow

Enjoying the last few days of summer vacation
with the neighbourhood kids

We had a great visit at Meaghans with her gang. She
served us a great lunch and I got some more social time!

Owen has been missing his naps for a week or two now,
no matter how tired there's alway time for ice cream

Labour Day we headed over to Mono Cliffs for a hike

Owen was in charge of directions
