This Month In Pics Pt 1

A collection of pics Rob has taken while I've been out of commission  There are a lot of great ones so will put them up in a couple of posts.

Tearing apart the floor mat is always fun

Rob assures me that this didn't happen every night

Just some of the time
Glad to have me back

Some things are funnier than others

Just hangin'

The makeshift baby gate held him back for all of two minutes, yes he crawled through it

Ten Months

Owen's personality is really starting to show through. He's becoming more of a little boy and a lot less of a baby. He is walking confidently everywhere as long as he can put his hands on something, even just up against the wall but if he wants to get somewhere really fast he'll squat down and crawl, quickly.
He's also finding his voice, there seems to be no quiet time with him right now, lots of yelling, laughing and just loud noises. No words just yet.

For the past three weeks Rob has been single parenting as I have been recovering/sleeping for most of it. Owen has done so well from going cold turkey on the breast feeding and taking a bottle and formula without complaint to going down for all his sleeps with virtually no fuss at all. These were big things that I worried about before my operation. Rob has been doing an amazing job and it's really great to see the bond that has developed between the two of them.

Hello

It has been just over 2 weeks since my operation and all I can manage is sleeping and eating. Lots of both. Today was a big day for me, I was able to sip my espresso from the cup for the first time. Up until now I have only been able to drink from a straw. Also, I was able to shower mostly on my own, my sister sat beside the shower to make sure I was steady on my feet. Thirdly, I have just enough energy to update my blog, something I have not had much of at all.
Rob has been doing double duty looking after Owen, myself and himself as well as going back to work. We really appreciate the help during the day with Owen as I am not able to handle him yet.
Some quick pics of my new do.
