Exciting Small Steps

See that balloon Owen has, I blew it up!
That's right.
I did put my finger to the right side of my lips to help a bit but I blew up that balloon, and it was a really big one too.
He was just as excited with the balloon as I was with my accomplishment.
It's these small improvements that are still developing even after a year and a half give me hope and encouragement. I still have my challenges but now I can blow up some balloons to celebrate my accomplishments!

This Week In Pics

Monday afternoon Oma arrived much to Owens
surprise and excitement. This was Tues morning
hence the pj's 

We had to check out Winners so Owen amused himself
with some bubble wrap while we browsed

Tues evening Rob and I went out for a much needed
date while Oma and Owen had a great time together

We decided to walk over to Allegro for pizza on the patio and couldn't
believe we were the only ones there, everyone else was inside!
Never happened in Toronto.

And of course the boys had to test it out immediately

Living dangerously the next morning I decided to enjoy my latte on
our yellow sofa while Owen played. I did enjoy it tremendously.

This Week In Pics

With the holiday falling on a Tuesday this week was a very short one. We had lots of fun as a family this week and really have been enjoying this fantastic summer.

Canada Day

Happy Canada Day
We all packed into the car this morning and went strawberry picking at a local farm. A quick 15 minute drive and we were there! Lots of fun for sure.

Of course the most exciting part for Owen were
the tractors. Yes, he got a ride!
