Sunrise on my new place of work |
It's been a bit of a nutty few weeks, nuttier than normal. I gave my two weeks notice at work and started a new job here in Bolton, so that has taken up a lot of my extra energy. My commute has gone from over an hour each way to seven minutes, the two hours that I gain back are now spent at work which will result in a nicer pay cheque.
I am inside sales for Darta Fleet Solutions. They manufacture and install lighting, consoles and anything else you could want for Police, Fire, EMS and Roadworks. So far it's been really interesting, lots to learn and it seems like pretty nice people to work with.
Here's a photo recap of the first couple of weeks of September

Some mornings Owen has his own ideas of what he is wearing to school |

My Mom came for a long weekend, right before I started my new job, and we had a great visit |

Owen has been spending lots of time on his own building lego |
|
This was a house he fully worked on by himself, truly impressed with his imagination and ability to construct |

My first attempt at making and canning apple butter |
Last weekend we all headed to London to visit with our old neighbours. Owen was really excited to see James again and the boys had an amazing weekend together. Infact, they played so well together that the adults were able to all sit together, have some wine and enjoy some adult conversation! All three of us had a wonderful time and we look forward to doing it again soon.

Monkey see, monkey do was the theme of the weekend |
|
We were treated to a wonderful dinner Saturday night |
|
After a leisurely Sunday morning we all mad it over to the apple orchard |
|
Train ride into the orchard was a nice touch |

Already lost and the corn maze hasn't even started! |

The boys loved running around, surprising each other |

My two very cute apple pickers |

Between a very late night and all the excitement of the day, someone was a bit exhausted |

Waiting for the train back to the entrance |
