| The morning started off with balloons and streamers which Owen helped me set up |

| This was moments before both kids went to town on the decorations. At least they both enjoyed them. |

| After dropping Owen off at school, Kate wanted to make a cake |

| She was very serious about her cake making |

| A new set of paint brushes were waiting for her and she was very happy to start using them |

| She lasted almost 20 minutes before this started! |

| After dinner we had birthday cake |

| Which I somehow managed to whip up and ice during the day along with making meatballs for dinner |

| Birthday girl definitely approved |
We measured the kids today, as we do on their birthdays. Since Owens birthday just five months ago, Owen has grown 1.5 inches and Kate a whopping 3.5 inches!!!!!
