Our Month

Another month has flown by so quickly, we celebrated easter at my parents house for an extra long weekend and Rob and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary with a lovely day spent at home with Owen at school. Bliss.
The past week has been another tough one with both Owen and I quite sick. Looks like we are over the worst of it and we will be back to school and work again this coming week.

Owen was pretty excited to be going to Oma and
Grandpas for a few days.

Somehow he managed to find our old boxes of Lego,
if he wasn't outside, he was at the Lego

He was excited each morning to go and get eggs
from the coop

Of course nothing tops getting rides in the bobcat

We arrived during syrup production and got to
take part

When did he get so big?

THe Easter bunny even stopped by thanks to
Leanne and Mom

We all decorated eggs

A couple weeks later my Mom came down to our place for a few day and
brough along this amazing quilt she had made for Owen.
So lucky.

The request for hat and mitts had been replaced with
"sunglasses mommy" before going out

As usual this is the only pic I got while my Mom was
visiting. Owen was quite adament that she
is "Oma, not Mom", I made that
mistake often!

Then fever, sore throat and earache kicked in

Only six days after Oma helped plant our seeds
and we have growth!

This year Owen has been really enjoying the garden
seeing everythig coming up

Another sick day, at least we got outside a bit

Just because there havn't been enough cute pics
of Owen in this post already

I somehow managed to build a new flower bed and finish planting
all my new bulbs. This is a small part of my grand plan
for redoing the front yard.
