This week in pics

Thankfully our walk home from school is
a short one as we were fully covered in
ice by the time we made it home!

Kate is VERY interested in what everyone
is eating so I figured it was time to
start giving her some of her own

We popped into Toronto and had a
coffee date with Leanne

She spoiled me with a gorgeous
chocolate surprise

Got back to Bolton just in time
for the snow to start. Notice the boys
had to crawl up the hill, they were determined!

Leanne had sent treats for Owen as well,
a gummy rattlesnake

He wrote his name on all 29 of his
Valentine cards

I had ordered Owen some new art supplies
so he had to try them all out. Washable

I love how he is using both hands and
different tools in each

Monday we had a ton of snow again and
I got the stroller stuck, Owen was
very happy to walk the rest of the way
all by himself. Naturally the rest of the week
he asked to do it again, I stood at the end of the walkway
while he crossed the field and headed to his class.
He looooved it

Birthday Week

Both of us suffered from birthdays this past week, birthdays are not what they used to be but we made the best of it anyways!

A long week means I needed lots of good coffee to start my day

Owen and I made a cake for Rob's
birthday on Thursday

Friday the three of us went to the
St. Lawrence market for a quick shop

While I grabbed lunch, Kate grabbed some beard

Walking home from school is always
an adventure with this guy

Baby Bunny woke up sick on Saturday
so Owen looked after her

Often this is how I'm greeted in the mornings
or after naps, so great

I came downstairs saturday night to find
the boys watching the Simpsons movie,
oh my

Sunday the temp rose to 0 so we bbq'd
some steak and potatoes to celebrate

This week In Pics

Over the past couple of weeks, Owen has
been planting me a tree garden so that in
the spring they will grow big a beautiful,
I haven't had the heart to tell him otherwise

I came downstairs one morning to find this.
He had asked Rob how to spell the words
but did it all himself

I ended up with two trays, pretty
happy with my first attempt

This is the only pic I took on the 22nd when we hosted our family get together,
I guess between hosting, helping and looking after Kate I forgot.
It was a fabulous get together, we loved having everyone over to our place
and couldn't have pulled it off without everyones help.

I decided it was time for a change!

no longer able to hold her and eat at
the same time as she has to grab everything

So I made muffins this week and Kate got
hold of one of the liners and licked it
clean. She was pretty upset when it was
all gone

and even Kate got in on the action, so sweet
