This week in pics

Thursday after school Owen decided it was hot enough to
play in the sprinkler. I almost joined him to get some relief
from the heat and swelling of my feet!

We've suspected a bat hangs out in our
front entrance for a while now,.
I finally have the proof

in front of the shed this weekend

Our deck is all ready for the summer and we have been enjoying it so much

Owen asked if we could have dinner outside
tonight, what a great idea

Updates!

Here's a brief update of what's been going on here lately. I have taken very few pictures for how busy we've been so these will have to do!

Mother's Day and Owen insisted he was going to
make me breakfast. Croissants with jam, strawberries
and a latte.

We even had a little picnic in the living room

I got to relax while Owen played quietly. I wish every
morning was this relaxing

My parents came down the following weekend, the
weather was perfect so we all enjoyed
dinner on the new deck

Ice cream sandwiches and cuddles with Grandpa

It was my Dad's 70th and we were all able to get
together to celebrate. Unfortunately this is the only
pic as we were making pizzas and having a great
time all together

The Victoria Day holiday was spent with
friends, enjoying a bbq,

sparklers

and fireworks of course!

Owen was up until 10pm and loved
every minute of it

I've been so incredibly exhausted since getting pregnant and am finding it difficult to keep updates on this blog. I am home today as Owen has a fever so am taking the opportunity to get a post in! Here's an update over the past couple of weeks.

Baby bump at 20 weeks, halfway!! 

Our deck was in need of some tlc but after a closer
inspection Rob decided that replacing all the boards
was a better option as they were all starting to rot

I thought I had posted this a couple of weeks ago, obviously not. My exhaustion has not lightened up and by 7pm I am ready for bed! Here's a late birthday post.
Monday the 18th was officially Owen's birthday so we celebrated on the Sunday with a simple yet perfect party. Leanne, Jamie and Grand Dad Fletcher joined us for a BBQ in the afternoon on a perfectly sunny spring day. Rob got the patio furniture out and we fired up the BBQ and enjoyed the day together.

Weekly Update

I went to pick Owen up from school but he insisted
that he finish his drawing first. I love that he
is taking so much interest in his work. 

Last weekend we went to Downey's Farm for an
early Easter Egg hunt and some fun

We met up with his friend Malcolm and had
tons of fun

Found lots of eggs that were traded in for a
bag of chocolates

Of course the highlight was the play area. Wooden
train and pirate ship were the fave.

16 week bump

Winters last effort at hanging on. 

Easter weekend we drove to Uncle Sean and
Aunt Casey's for lunch on Saturday

Sunday morning we were treated with a sleep in and
an Easter egg hunt

I enjoyed my coffee while Owen searched for eggs

Seeing as It's been way more than a week since updating I can't really call it weekly update, so here are some highlights of what we've been up to lately.

Owen has begun writing the alphabet and has asked
for a book of his own to write in.

The guys busy working while I stole a nap on the sofa

Rob has framed in a closet amongst the many other
projects he's been working on in the basement

We all went bowling with a friend from Owen's school

We all had a really great time

Owen and I being goofy on a lazy weekend

I believe he asked for a lemonade and popcorn
party, so we did!

15 weeks and getting really big!

Noticed these popping up this weekend in our garden

We were pretty impressed!

The boys took off Sunday afternoon to go watch the
Toronto Rock play lacrosse downtown

Owen was super excited. I even managed to give him
a haircut before they left.
